"And ye are complete in him..." (Colossians 2:10)

Salvation is free and it is the grace of GOD!

By: Hartley Edorodion

It is very important that tithe is removed from every true church of Jesus Christ because tithe destroys the work of Christ as a free gift. It makes salvation not free anymore. Common sense, don't you know that when an obligatory percentage is attached to an appreciation for a gift, it becomes a payment. That so-called gift is not a gift anymore. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree" (Galatians 3:13). The curse Christ redeemed us from includes Malachi 3:9. Stop deceiving the brethren. Heaven is weeping about your deception and extortion.

The message of Jesus on giving: "freely ye have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8). Another message of Jesus on giving: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again" (Luke 6:38).

Apostle Paul message on giving: "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work" (2 Corinthians 9:6-8).

These messages of the Lord Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul on giving are what we see in the New Testament. There are many things in the Old Testament that we do not do today. For example, we do not kill goat anymore, we do not keep Saturday (Sabbath day) holy anymore, and so on. Stop deceiving the brethren with the tithe.
